Q: What is the installation procedure for the crankshaft rear oil seal?
A:
The procedure is to lubricate the outside diameter (OD) of the oil seal, lubricate the rear cover oil seal bore, install the J41479 tapered cone and bolts, tighten the bolts, install the rear oil seal, thread the J41479 threaded rod into the tapered cone, align the oil seal into the tool, rotate the handle of the tool clockwise, remove the J41479 and install the engine flywheel.

You can remove the engine flywheel and remove and discard the crankshaft rear oil seal.
