2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo MAP Sensor

You can install a new Throttle Body gasket, position the throttle body to the intake manifold, install the throttle body bolts, connect the EVAP canister purge tube to the throttle body, connect the throttle actuator control motor electrical connector, install the air cleaner outlet duct and the engine sight shield, connect a scan tool, operate the accelerator pedal, monitor the throttle angles and verify the vehicle is not in a reduced engine power mode, that the ignition is ON and that the engine is OFF.

You can install a new Air Filter element, install the air cleaner housing cover, engage the spring clamps on top of the air cleaner housing, and install the air cleaner outlet duct.

You can remove the throttle body and the fuel injectors, remove the brake booster vacuum hose, remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) clean air tube, remove the PCV foul air tube, remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge solenoid tube, disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the MAP sensor, remove the EVAP purge solenoid valve and bracket, remove the Intake Manifold bolts, remove the intake manifold and remove and discard the intake manifold gaskets.
