Q: What is the proper way to install the oil filter and seal?
A:
You can install a new seal, install the filter and install the gasket and the oil pan.
Q: How do you replace the transmission fluid cooler hose/pipe?
A:
You can disconnect the transaxle oil cooler (TOC) outlet hose from the top side of the radiator, raise the vehicle, remove the TOC hose retainer bolt, position a drain pan below the oil cooler hoses, disconnect the TOC outlet hose from the transaxle, disconnect the TOC inlet hose from the transaxle and the radiator, disconnect the TOC hoses from the radiator support retainer and remove the TOC hoses.
Q: How do you install the oil pan?
A:
You can install the oil pan gasket, the oil pan, and the oil pan bolts, lower the vehicle, fill the transaxle with DEXTRON III, place the gear selector in the Park position, start the engine, run the engine at a slow idle, adjust the fluid level and inspect for leaks.
