You can twist each plug wire 1/2 turn and pull only on the boot to remove the wire from the ignition coil.

Q: How do you install the right valve rocker arm cover?
A:
You can install a new gasket, install new valve rocker arm cover bolt grommets, install the valve rocker arm cover and bolts, install the rocker arm cover bolts and grommets, install the PCV foul air hose, apply thread lock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the threads of the ignition coil bracket bolts, install the ignition coil and bracket assembly, install the ignition coil bracket bolts, install the spark plug wires, position the engine harness, connect the ignition coil main electrical connector, install the CPA retainer and install the engine sight shield.

Q: What is the proper way to install the left valve rocker arm cover?
A:
You can install a new gasket, install a new oil fill tube, install new valve rocker arm cover bolt grommets, install the valve rocker arm cover and bolts, remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) clean air tube, apply thread lock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the threads of the ignition coil bracket bolts, install the ignition coil and bracket assembly, install the ignition coil bracket bolts and the spark plug wires, position the engine harness, connect the ignition coil main electrical connector, install the CPA retainer and install the engine sight shield.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the right valve rocker arm cover?
A:
The procedure is to remove the engine sight shield and the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer, disconnect the ignition coil main electrical connector, reposition the engine harness, remove the spark plug wires, remove the ignition coil bracket bolts, the ignition coil, and bracket assembly, the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) foul air hose and the valve rocker arm cover bolts and cover, remove and discard the old gasket and remove the valve rocker arm cover bolt grommets.
