Q: What is the removal procedure for the cooling fan and shroud?
A:
You need to disengage the radiator inlet hose clip, reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp, remove the surge tank inlet hose, disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the clip attaching the wiring harness to the shroud, open the engine oil cooler line clip and remove the cooler lines, remove the cooling fan shroud bolts and the cooling fan and shroud.

You need to rove the cooling fan, remove the oil cooler hose clip from the lower fan shroud, and lift the lower fan shroud to disengage the fan shroud from the retaining clips on the radiator.

You need to loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamps and the air cleaner outlet duct clamps, remove the air cleaner outlet duct, the A/C line retainer, the engine harness clip, the transmission central module (TCM) cover bolts, and TCM cover, loosen the TCM electrical connector bolts, disconnect the TCM electrical connectors, remove the TCM and cover, the fan shroud retainers, the fan shroud bolts, and the upper fan shroud.
