A:
The FRONT of the sensor will have a raised rotor flange cuff, an alignment mark on the rotor flange cuff for installation, a pinhole for the centering pin, and a sensor clip in front of the sensor.

Q: What should be noticed if reusing the existing sensor?
A:
You must align the marks on the raised rotor flange cuff before installation. The alignment mark must stay aligned until the sensor is seated into the adapter and bearing assembly.

Q: What should be noticed before disconnecting the steering column or intermediate shaft?
A:
The front wheels of the vehicle must be maintained in the straight-ahead position and the steering column must be in the LOCK position before disconnecting the steering column or intermediate shaft. Failure to follow these procedures will cause improper alignment of some components during installation and result in damage to the SIR coil assembly.
