Q: How to remove the thermal expansion valve?
A:
After recovering the refrigerant and repositioning the heater hoses, you can disconnect the vacuum hose and remove the evaporator outlet tube. Then you need to disconnect the evaporator outlet tube and the evaporator outlet tube. After that, you need to remove and discard the sealing washers, tape off the A/C refrigerant tubes, and remove the thermal expansion valve (TXV), the sealing washers, and the evaporator core.

Q: How to install the thermal expansion valve?
A:
After removing the cap or tape, you can install the new sealing washers and the TXV. Then you need to remove the cap or tape, install the sealing washers, the evaporator inlet tube, the evaporator outlet and inlet tubes, and the evaporator outlet tube nut. Then you can connect the vacuum hose, reposition the heater hoses and evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Then you can test the fittings of the component.
