Q: How to install the exhaust gas recirculation valve?
A:
You can install a new EGR valve gasket, the EGR valve, the EGR valve studs, the EGR pipe, and the EGR pipe bolt. Then you can connect the engine harness electrical connector, raise the vehicle, position the transaxle fill tube, and install the transaxle fill tube bolt. After that, you can lower the vehicle and the air cleaner outlet duct. Then you can install the intake manifold cover.

Q: How to remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve?
A:
After removing the intake manifold cover and the air cleaner outlet duct, you can disconnect the engine harness electrical connector and raise and support the vehicle. Then you can remove the transaxle fill tube bolt and the transaxle fill tube nut. Then you can lower the vehicle, and remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe bolt, the EGR valve studs, the EGR valve, and the EGR valve gasket. After that, you can clean and inspect the EGR valve gasket mating surfaces.
