After removing the rear bumper fascia and disconnecting the electrical, you can lift the locking tabs, remove the rear object sensor, and squeeze and remove the spring. Then you can release the tabs and remove the rear object sensor bezel.

After painting the new rear object sensor, you can align the keyhole with the key, and install the housing, the spring, and the decoupling ring. Then you can insert the sensor into the housing, connect the electrical connector and install the rear bumper fascia.

After rolling the second-row seats forward and folding the third-row seat down, you can open the guide loop covers, and remove the guide loop bolts and the upper trim. Then you can remove the storage compartment, the rear liftgate sill, and the cargo tie-down loops. After that, you can pull the top of the quarter trim loose and remove the bolts, the electrical connector, and the rear object alarm detection module.

After installing the rear object alarm detection module, the electrical connector, and the bolts, you need to secure the top of the quarter trim over the bolts. Then you can install the cargo tie-down loops, the rear liftgate sill, the storage compartment, the upper trim, and the guide loop bolts. Then you can close the guide loop covers and return to the second and third-row seats.
