Q: How do you install the Discharge Hose (With RPO CODES LY2, LMF, L76, and L92)?
A:
You need to install the discharge hose to the vehicle, connect the electrical connector to the A/C recirculation switch, install the discharge hose to the condenser using new sealing washers, the discharge hose nut to the condenser, the upper air baffle, the discharge hose to the A/C compressor using new sealing washers and the discharge hose mounting bolt, evacuate and recharge the A/C system and leak test the fittings of the component using the J 39400-A.

Q: How do you remove the Evaporator Tube?
A:
You need to recover the refrigerant, remove the upper radiator air baffle and deflector, the air cleaner assembly, and the surge tank hold down the nut and bolt and position aside and the evaporator tube nut from the evaporator, disconnect the evaporator tube from the evaporator and remove the evaporator tube nut from the auxiliary A/C tube if equipped. Then you can disconnect the evaporator tube from the auxiliary A/C tube if equipped, remove the evaporator tube nut from the condenser, disconnect the evaporator tube from the condenser, remove the evaporator tube from the vehicle, discard all of the used sealing washers and cap all of the open connections.

Q: How do you install the Auxiliary Heater Pipe?
A:
You need to install the auxiliary heater pipes to the vehicle, the auxiliary heater pipes to the clamps, the heater/A/C tubes retaining nut to the stud at the frame, the auxiliary heater pipes to the auxiliary heater core, the right front wheelhouse panel, the right rear wheelhouse panel, the vehicle right assist step and the auxiliary heater pipes to the heater inlet and outlet tees, connect the outlet heater hose to the heater core and the inlet heater hose to the heater core and then fill the cooling system.

You need to connect the evaporator tube to the condenser using new sealing washers, install the evaporator tube nut to the condenser, connect the evaporator tube to the auxiliary A/C tube using new sealing washers if equipped, install the evaporator tube nut to the auxiliary A/C tube if equipped, the evaporator tube to the evaporator, the evaporator tube nut to the evaporator, the surge tank hold-down nut and bolt and position aside, the air cleaner assembly and the upper radiator air baffle and deflector, evacuate and recharge the system and leak test the fittings of the components using the J 39400-A.

You need to drain the cooling system, squeeze the plastic retainer tabs on the inlet hose, pull the connection apart, squeeze the plastic retainer tabs on the outlet hose, pull the connection apart, and remove the auxiliary heater pipes from the heater inlet and outlet tees at the HVAC module, the vehicle right assist step, the right rear wheelhouse panel, the right front wheelhouse panel, the auxiliary heater pipes from the auxiliary heater core, the heater/A/C tubes retaining nut from the stud at the frame, the auxiliary heater pipes from the clamps and the auxiliary heater pipes from the vehicle.
