Q: How do you install the crankshaft front oil seal (RPOs LY6/L76/L92)?
A:
You need to lubricate the outer edge of the oil seal and the front cover oil seal bore with clean engine oil, install the crankshaft front oil seal onto the J 41478 guide and the J 41478 threaded rod (with nut, washer, guide, and oil seal) into the end of the crankshaft, install the oil seal into the cover bore and install the crankshaft balancer.
