Q: What is the proper way to install the oil level indicator and tube?
A:
The proper way is to lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil and install a new O-ring seal onto the oil level indicator tube and the oil level indicator tube between the exhaust manifold and engine block. Then you can insert the oil level indicator tube into the block and the tube must be installed with the collar flush to the block and install the oil level indicator tube bolt and the oil level indicator.

Q: How do you remove the engine oil and oil filter?
A:
You need to remove the oil fill cap, place an oil drain pan under the oil pan drain plug, remove the oil pan drain plug, allow the oil to drain completely, clean and inspect the oil pan drain plug, replace it if necessary and and inspect the oil pan sealing surface, replace the oil pan if necessary. Then you can wipe any remaining oil from the drain plug hole and reinstall the oil pan drain plug until snug, position the drain pan under the Oil Filter, remove the oil filter and ensure that the oil filter gasket is still on the old filter if not, remove the oil filter gasket from the oil pan.
Q: What should I avoid doing when removing the oil pan (4WD)?
A:
You can not allow foreign material to enter the oil passages of the Oil Pan, cap, or cover the openings as required.
