With the ignition on, verify that the HVAC module driver and passenger heated seat switch parameters display active while any of the heated seat switches are pressed and verify that the MSM driver and passenger seat HVC mode and level parameters are displayed correctly as the heated seat switches are activated through all of the operating modes. If the circuits test normal, replace the HVAC control module.

Q: How to test the heated cooled seat indicator circuit?
A:

Q: What is the circuit/system verification procedure?
A:
When the engine is running, use a scan tool to observe the appropriate heated seat switch parameter. You can verify that the heated seat switch parameter changes from active to inactive when the switch is pressed and released, display the rear heated seat module data list, and verify that the heated temperature level changes from off, to high, to low as the heated seat switch is cycled through these states and verify that the rear heated seat modes are being displayed correctly by the rear HVAC/RSA module. If all the tests are normal replace the rear heated seat module.
