You can recover the refrigerant from the A/C system, locate the A/C coupling assembly's locking tab access slots, insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver into the first locking tab access slot, insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver into the second locking tab access slot and open and remove the A/C coupling assembly.

Q: What is the recommended torque when installing the front evaporator inlet line to the A/C condenser lower bolt?
A:
You can tighten the bolt to 16 N.m (12 lb-ft).

Q: What is the removal procedure for the air conditioning evaporator front tube?
A:
You can recover the refrigerant from the A/C system, remove the battery, disconnect and remove the A/C tube connector, disconnect the front evaporator inlet line, disconnect the refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector, remove the front evaporator inlet line to the A/C condenser lower bolt, disconnect the front evaporator line inlet, remove the sealing washer, cap or tape off the A/C condenser, disconnect the front evaporator inlet line, remove the O-rings, cap or tape the evaporator rear line assembly, disconnect the surge tank outlet hose and the inlet heater hose and remove the front evaporator inlet line from the vehicle.
