A:
You can install the lower hood assist rod ball stud to the front structure, install the hood assist rod, insure that the clip is fully seated on the hood assist rod and close the hood.

A:
You can install the hood assist rod to the vehicle, install the hood assist rod onto the upper hood assist rod ball stud attached to the hood, install the hood assist rod onto the lower hood assist rod ball stud, and insure that both clips are fully seated on the hood assist rod and close the hood.
