You can install the new boot clamp onto the rack and pinion boot, install the boot onto the inner tie rod assembly, install the boot onto the gear assembly, install the boot clamp on the boot, install the tie rod end clamp on the boot, install the jam nut to the inner tie rod assembly and install the outer tie rod.

The procedure is to remove the following: the outer tie rod, the nut from the inner tie rod assembly, the tie rod clamp, the boot clamp, and the rack and pinion boot.
