Q: What is the removal procedure for the camshaft cover (right side)?
A:
The procedure is to remove the intake manifold sight shield, disconnect the PCV dirty air tube, remove the ignition module, disconnect the cable harness clips at the front of the camshaft cover, remove the bolt connecting the ground strap to the right camshaft cover, remove the camshaft cover bolts, remove the camshaft cover, discard the camshaft cover gasket and spark plug port seals and clean and inspect the camshaft cover.

Q: What is the recommended torque when installing the camshaft cover bolts?
A:
You can tighten the camshaft cover bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Q: How do you install the camshaft cover (left side)?
A:
You can work the camshaft cover into position, install the camshaft cover bolts, connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster, install the ignition module, install the bolt securing the tube to the cylinder head, connect the PCV fresh air tube to the left camshaft cover, install the fuel injector sight shield and connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster.

The procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield, remove the ignition module, remove the bolt connecting the ground strap to the left camshaft cover, remove the bolt securing the oil level indicator tube to the left cylinder head, remove the camshaft cover bolts and remove the camshaft cover.
