To avoid being burned, do not remove the Radiator Cap or surge tank cap while the engine is hot. The cooling system will release scalding fluid and steam under pressure if the radiator cap or surge tank cap is removed while the engine and radiator are still hot.

You need to install the Thermostat with the bolts and the thermostat housing, secure the upper radiator hose to the thermostat housing with a hose clamp, connect the throttle body coolant inlet hose to the thermostat housing, and refill the engine cooling system.

You need to install a new seal ring to the coolant pump, coat the sealing surface of the seal ring with Lubriplater (R), install the coolant pump to the engine block with the flange aligned with the recess of the rear timing belt cover, install the coolant pump mounting bolts and the rear timing belt cover, fill the engine cooling system, and connect the negative battery cable.
