Q: What should you notice about the Knock Sensor?
A:
Hot engine coolant may cause severe burns. Although the cooling system has been drained, coolant remains in the engine water jacket. This coolant will drain with the removal of the knock sensor.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Knock Sensor?
A:
Disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the intake manifold, disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector, and remove the KS.
