Q: How to install the Fuel Injector?
A:
You should lubricate the new Fuel Injector O-ring seals with mineral oil GM P/N 9981704, next install the new fuel injector O-ring seals onto the fuel injector, install a new retainer clip to the fuel injector, then push the fuel injector into the rail socket with the electrical connector end facing outward, and connect the fuel injector harness electrical connector to the fuel injector, finally install the fuel rail assembly.
Q: How to install the Fuel Level Sensor?
A:
You should align the edges of the Fuel Level Sensor with the slots in the module bucket, then slide the fuel level sensor into position, ensure the locking tab is fully engaged, connect the fuel level sensor electrical connector to the module cover, then install the fuel tank module.
Q: How to remove the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor?
A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle, high enough to access the top of the fuel tank through the wheelhouse liner, lower the fuel tank, remove the left rear pickup box wheelhouse liner, then disconnect the chassis wiring harness electrical connector from the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor, and pull upward to remove the sensor from the fuel tank module.
