Q: How to remove the Ignition Coil?
A:
You need to remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the oil pressure sensor, disconnect the engine wiring harness retainer from the oil filter adapter, disconnect the engine wiring harness retainers from the power steering pump, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor, and the CMP actuator solenoid valve, then disconnect the engine wiring harness retainer from the camshaft cover, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the fuel injector harness, the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S), and from the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor, then disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the ignition coils, disengage the engine wiring harness conduit from the camshaft cover, and position aside, then remove the ignition coil bolts and the ignition coils from the camshaft cover.
