Q: How to adjust the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator?
A:
First, you should pull out the tab on the adjuster block side of the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator. Secondly, you need to press on the adjuster block to compress the internal adjuster spring which disengages the adjuster teeth. Slide the adjuster block as far away from the actuator as possible. Lastly, lock the adjuster block in place by pushing in on the tab.
