FAQ for Camshaft Position Sensor Repair

Q: How to remove the camshaft position sensor?
A:
You will need to disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector, remove the CMP sensor bolt and the CMP sensor, then inspect the CMP sensor O-rings for wear, cracks, or leakage if the sensor is being reused. You can replace the O-rings if damaged.
