FAQ for Drive Belt Repair

Q: How to install the Drive Belt?
A:
You may need to install the drive belt to all the pulleys except the right idler pulley, install the right engine mount, then remove the floor jack from under the engine oil pan or remove the engine support fixture, next using J 39914 rotate the drive belt tensioner away from the drive belt, install the drive belt to the right idler pulley, release J 39914 allowing the drive belt tensioner to come in contact with the drive belt, then remove J 39914 from the drive belt tensioner, and inspect the drive belt to ensure the belt is properly centered on all pulleys, finally install the air cleaner assembly.
