2007 Chevrolet Equinox Engine Control Module

You may need to connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors to the ECM, place the ECM on the battery shield, install the ECM to the retainer, position the ECM and retainer to the top of the battery shield, next slide the ECM retainer rearward, engaging the retainer to the battery shield, then connect the negative battery cable, next reprogram the PCM.

You will need to retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil and the remaining automatic transmission fluid life using a scan tool, record the remaining engine oil and the remaining automatic transmission fluid life, slide the engine control module (ECM) retainer rearward, disengage the retainer from the battery shield, remove the ECM retainer from the top of the battery shield, and remove the ECM from the retainer, then place the ECM on the battery shield, disconnect the negative battery cable, and then disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the ECM.
