You can align the cover to the studs on the engine, push down on the cover above the studs and install the engine oil fill cap.

The purpose is to ensure that the components are installed in the same location from which they were removed.

The procedure is to remove the engine oil fill cap and pull up the cover.

The procedure is to remove the following: the upper intake manifold, the left valve rocker arm cover, the right valve rocker arm cover, the fuel injector harness connector bracket bolt, the fuel injector rail bolts, the fuel rail, the lower intake manifold bolts, and the lower intake manifold.

The procedure is to remove the following: the intake manifold cover, the positive crankcase ventilation fresh air tube, the PCV foul air tube, the vacuum hose, the heater inlet, and outlet hose/pipe clamps, the heater inlet and outlet hose/pipe clamp nuts, the heater inlet and outlet hoses/pipes, the air cleaner outlet duct, the left side spark plug wires, the throttle body bolts and nuts, the throttle body and gasket, the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve bolt, the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, the MAP sensor bracket bolts, the MAP sensor bracket and sensor, the ignition coil bracket bolts, the intake manifold cover ball stud nut and the upper to lower intake manifold gaskets.
