A:
You can install the oil filter bypass valve, position the oil filter adapter and gasket to the engine, apply thread lock to the bolt/stud threads, install the oil filter adapter bolts and stud, install the oil filter and disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the oil filter adapter and bypass valve assembly?
A:
You can disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector, remove the oil filter, remove the oil filter adapter bolts and stud, remove the oil filter adapter and gasket and insert a flat-bladed tool into the oil filter bypass hole and remove the oil filter bypass valve.

You can install the Oil Pump to the valve body, install the oil pump bolts, connect the electrical connectors to the solenoid valves and install the case side cover.

A:
First position a suitable drain pan under the oil pan drain plug, remove the oil pan drain plug, clean and inspect the oil pan drain plug sealing surface, wipe any remaining oil, reinstall the oil pan drain plug, position a suitable drain pan under the Oil Filter and remove the oil filter.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the oil pan?
A:
You can remove the following: the engine mount struts, the catalytic converter, the Oil Pan drain plug, the oil filter, the starter, the air conditioning compressor nut and bolt, the A/C compressor rear bolt, the engine harness clips, the front transaxle brace, the engine mount lower nuts, the rear transaxle brace, the steering shaft intermediate pinch bolt, the engine mount bracket bolts, the engine mount and bracket, the right side lower ball joint, the right side stabilizer link, the right side frame bolts, the right side oil pan side bolts, the left side oil pan side bolts, the oil pan bolts, the oil pan, and the oil pan gasket.
