Q: What is the removal procedure for the engine coolant thermostat housing?
A:
First, drain the cooling system, remove the air cleaner outlet duct, reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp and remove the radiator outlet hose. Next, remove the thermostat housing bolt/stud, remove the thermostat housing and gasket and clean the gasket surfaces.
