FAQ for Window Channel Repair

Q: How do I install the Windshield Frame Header Panel?
A:
Start with drilling 8 mm (5/16 in) plug weld holes in the service part. Prep all mating surfaces as necessary. Apply weld thru coating to all mating surfaces. Position the header panel to the vehicle and clamp it into place. Plug weld accordingly, and clean and prepare all of the welded surfaces. Install all of the related panels and components. Apply the sealers and anti-corrosion materials. Paint the area. Connect the negative battery cable and enable the SIR system.
