Q: How do I install the frame cushion/insulator?
A:
Start with applying lubricant to the inside surface of the lower insulator and the top surface of the upper insulator. Then install both upper and lower insulators to the rear of the frame as a set. Raise the rear frame and install the bolts. Remove the stand and install the intermediate shaft to the gear stub shaft.

Q: How do I remove the frame cushion or insulator?
A:
After raising the vehicle, disconnect the steering intermediate shaft and fog lamp connectors from the fog lamps. Remove the nuts and bolts attached to the frame reinforcement. Remove the reinforcement and install a jack stand under the center of the frame, between the front frame insulators. Remove the front frame bolts and retainers. Lower front of the frame. Lastly, remove the frame front upper insulators. Use the frame insulator remover/installer to remove the front frame and insulator.

After raising the vehicle remove the intermediate shaft from the steering gear stub shaft. Use a utility stand to support the rear frame. Remove the rear frame bolts and lower them, then lastly remove the upper and lower insulators from the rear as a set.
