A:
The procedure is to place a clean shop cloth, apply the brakes 3-5 times, fill the brake master cylinder reservoir, install the J 35589-A, check the brake fluid level, connect the J 29532, install a proper box-end wrench, install a transparent hose, submerge the open end of the transparent hose, loosen the bleeder valve, install a proper box-end wrench, install a transparent hose, install a proper box-end wrench, remove the J 35589-A, fill the brake master cylinder reservoir and then depress and release the brake pedal.

Q: What is the automated bleed procedure for the antilock brake system?
A:
The procedure is to install a scan tool, start the engine and allow the engine to idle, begin the automated bleed procedure, follow the instructions on the scan tool to complete the automated bleed procedure, remove the scan tool, fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-fill level, bleed the hydraulic brake system, repeat the automated bleeding procedure, drive the vehicle and then repeat the automated bleeding procedure until a firm brake pedal is obtained.
