2008 Buick Enclave Air Filter

The procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube from the camshaft cover fitting, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body and the 6 air cleaner housing cover screws, separate the air cleaner outlet duct from the throttle body, and then remove the air cleaner housing cover (with outlet duct) and the air cleaner element.

You can install a NEW air cleaner element, position the air cleaner housing cover (with outlet duct) onto the air cleaner lower housing and the air cleaner outlet duct onto the throttle body, tighten the 6 air cleaner housing cover screws until snug, tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor, and then install the PCV fresh air tube to the camshaft cover fitting and the fuel injector sight shield.
