You need to lubricate the NEW MAP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil, install the MAP sensor and bolt, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP sensor, and then install the fuel injector sight shield.

You need to remove the fuel injector sight shield, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, and then remove the MAP sensor bolt and sensor.

Q: How do you inspect and clean the Throttle Body Inspection and Cleaning?
A:
You need to remove the air cleaner outlet duct, inspect the Throttle Body bore and the throttle valve plate for deposits, clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate, and then install the air cleaner outlet duct.
Q: What will need to be done before replacing the Intake Manifold Insulator?
A:
You will need to remove the air cleaner outlet duct, the manifold absolute pressure sensor, the positive crankcase ventilation hose, and the brake booster hose from the Intake Manifold.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the air cleaner element?
A:
The procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube from the camshaft cover fitting, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body and the 6 air cleaner housing cover screws, separate the air cleaner outlet duct from the throttle body, and then remove the air cleaner housing cover (with outlet duct) and the air cleaner element.
