2008 Buick Enclave Window Regulator

You need to partially install the upper bolt to the regulator, install the regulator through the door opening in a semi-horizontal position, position the regulator fully forward into the door cavity, rotate the regulator to a vertical position, lower and hang the regulator onto the door sheet metal using the upper bolt that was previously installed, remove the window support and lower the window to the window guide on the regulator, loosely tighten the regulator window carrier bolt, operate the window upward to the full up position, install the nut that retains the motor to the door and the upper and lower bolts that retain the regulator to the door, connect the electrical connector to the regulator motor, and then install the energy absorber retainers and energy absorber to the door, the covers that conceal the regulator bolt holes, the water deflector, and the door trim panel.

The recommended torque is 9 N.m (80 lb in).

The recommended torque is 10 N.m (88 lb in).

You need to remove the door trim panel, the water deflector, the energy absorber retainers, and energy absorber from the door, the covers that conceal the holes for the regulator bolts and the window guide to regulator bolts, raise and support the window in the full-up position, disconnect the electrical connector from the regulator motor, loosen the upper bolt that retains the regulator to the upper inner door, remove the nut that retains the motor to the door and the lower bolts that retain the regulator to the door, rotate the upper portion of the regulator forward, remove the regulator through the door opening, and then transfer the power window motor.
