FAQ for Ball Joint Repair

Q: What is the lower control arm ball joint installation procedure?
A:
First install the ball stud to the lower control arm, install the new ball stud bolts facing down and install the new ball stud nuts. Tighten the new ball stud to 68 Nm and install the ball stud to the steering knuckle. Next, install the ball stud castle nut and tighten the nut to 20 Nm. Finally, install the new cotter pin and bend the ends.
