Start with removing the fill cap, lift and support the vehicle. Next, remove the oil pan drain plug and O-ring. Allow the oil to drain into an appropriate container. Lastly, remove the engine Oil Filter.
Q: How do you remove the oil pump?
A:
You will need to remove the case side cover, disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the pump bolts, and separate the Oil Pump from the valve body.
Q: Can the oil pan gasket be reused?
A:
No, it is recommended the Oil Pan gasket be replaced with a new one whenever the part is serviced.
