FAQ for Wheel Hub Bolt Repair

Q: How do install the wheel stud?
A:
Start with replacing the old with a new stud in the wheel hub. Add enough washers to draw the stud into the hub. Install the wheel nut with the flat side against the washers. Tighten the wheel nut until the stud is fully seated against the hub flange, then back off the wheel nut and remove the washers. Install the brake rotor, caliper, tire and wheel assembly.
