FAQ for A/C Evaporator Core Repair

Q: How to remove the Air Conditioning Evaporator Core?
A:
First, you need to remove the HVAC module assembly and remove the insulation from the thermal expansion valve (TXV). Then, please remove the HVAC line clamp screw, the HVAC line clamp, the TXV to evaporator bolts, the TXV line bracket, and the TXV from the evaporator core. You also need to separate the TXV from the A/C lines and remove the TXV, the screws that hold the case together, and the clips that hold the case together. Finally, you should disconnect the thermistor electrical connector, separate the HVAC module, and remove the thermistor and the evaporator core.
