Q: How to remove the Generator (LY7)?
A:
First, you need to disconnect the battery negative cable, remove the drive belt from the generator, and raise and support the vehicle. Then, please disconnect the electrical connector from the generator, reposition the protective boot from the generator output BAT terminal for access, remove the generator output BAT terminal nut and disconnect the battery positive lead from the generator, and remove the generator lower bolts. Finally, you should lower the vehicle, remove the generator upper bolt and remove the generator from the engine.

Q: How to install the Generator Bracket (LY7)?
A:
First, you need to install the generator bracket and the generator bracket bolts. Then, please install the belt tensioner and install the coolant inlet pipe lower bolt from the generator bracket. Finally, you should install the generator.

Q: How to install the Generator (LY7)?
A:
First, you need to install the generator to the engine, install the generator upper bolt, raise and support the vehicle and install the generator lower bolts. Then, please install the battery positive lead and the generator BAT terminal nut to the generator, install the BAT terminal boot and connect the electrical connector to the generator. Finally, you should lower the vehicle, install the drive belt to the generator and connect the battery negative cable.
