FAQ for Engine Control Module Repair

Q: How to install the Engine Control Module?
A:
First, you need to slide the ECM into the ECM bracket and ensure that the ECM engages the bracket retainers. Then, please connect and lock the engine wiring harness electrical connectors to the ECM. Finally, you should connect the negative battery cable, program the ECM and turn OFF the ignition for a least 5 seconds after the programming event is complete.
