2008 Cadillac CTS Fuel Injector

First, you need to install the front compartment sight shield and position the engine cover/sight shield over the intake manifold so the grommets are aligned with the ball studs. Then, please press the engine cover/sight shield down firmly near the ball studs to install the engine cover/sight shield. Finally, you should install the oil fill cap and the cross-car brace.

First, you need to install the front compartment sight shield and position the engine cover/sight shield to the rear tabs. Then, please position the engine cover/sight shield over the intake manifold so the grommets are aligned with the ball studs and press the engine cover/sight shield down firmly near the ball studs to install the engine cover/sight shield. Finally, you should install the oil fill cap and the cross-car brace.

First, you need to relieve the high side fuel system pressure, remove the fuel injection fuel rail assembly and remove and discard the fuel injector hold-down clamp. Then, please disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connectors from the fuel injectors. Finally, you should remove the direct fuel injectors, remove and discard the upper O-ring Seal, the plastic Spacer, the retaining Ring, the isolator Cup, and the Teflon Seal from the fuel injectors.

First, you need to install NEW fuel injector seals, the fuel injector, the fuel injector retainer clip, and the fuel injector electrical connector. Then, please engage the fuel injector electrical connector lock, install the fuel rail with the fuel injectors and install the fuel rail bolts. Finally, you should connect the fuel feed pipe to the fuel rail, and install the fuel pipe retaining clip and the upper intake manifold.

First, you need to relieve the fuel system pressure, remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold, remove the fuel pipe retaining clip and disconnect the fuel feed pipe from the fuel injector rail. Then, please use compressed air to remove debris from the area where the fuel injectors enter the intake manifold. You also need to remove the fuel rail bolts, remove the fuel rail with the fuel injectors, disengage the fuel injector electrical connector lock, and disconnect the fuel injector electrical connector. Finally, you should remove the fuel injector retainer clip, and the fuel injector, and remove and discard the fuel injector seals.
