2008 Cadillac CTS Fuel Tank

First, you need to remove the fuel filler cap and drain the fuel tank below the level of the Fuel Filler Hose. Then, please remove the bolts securing the fuel filler tube to the body, remove the right rear wheel, the right rear wheelhouse liner, and the fuel filler tube brace bolt. Finally, you should disconnect the fuel filler hose from the fuel tank, disconnect the filler vent tube from the evaporative emission (EVAP) hose, and remove the fuel filler tube from the vehicle.

First, you need to relieve the high side fuel system pressure, remove the fuel injection fuel rail assembly and remove and discard the Fuel Injector hold-down clamp. Then, please disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connectors from the fuel injectors. Finally, you should remove the direct fuel injectors, remove and discard the upper O-ring Seal, the plastic Spacer, the retaining Ring, the isolator Cup, and the Teflon Seal from the fuel injectors.

First, you need to align the tabs of the sensor with the slots in the module assembly. Then, please slide the sensor fully into position and ensure the locking tab is engaged. Finally, you should connect the Fuel Level Sensor electrical connector to the module and install the primary fuel tank module.
