2008 Cadillac CTS Oil Pan

First, you need to install the oil pan drain plug and NEW O-ring seal and lower the vehicle. Then, please install the NEW Oil Filter cartridge, lubricate the oil filter cap threads with clean engine oil, and install the oil filter cap and the oil fill cap. Finally, you should fill the engine with the appropriate oil type and quantity and install the front compartment sight shield as necessary.

First, you need to install the Oil Filter Adapter, install the bolts securing the wire harness bracket to the oil filter adapter and install the A/C compressor with the A/C pipes to the engine. Then, please install the power steering pump bolts and connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector. Finally, you should install the A/C compressor, the power steering drive belt, and the oil filter.

First, you need to remove the front compartment sight shield and remove the oil level indicator from the oil level indicator tube. Then, please remove the oil level indicator tube bolt, raise the vehicle, remove the knock sensor and remove the heat shield clip from the oil level indicator tube. Finally, you should lower the vehicle and remove the oil level indicator tube up through the exhaust manifold. If you are replacing only the oil level indicator tube seal, you should remove and discard the old seal.
