Q: How to install the exhaust system insulator, hanger, and bracket?
A:
You may need to apply a soapy solution to the rear hanger rod and the inner diameter of the rear exhaust hanger to ease the installation of the hanger, press the rear exhaust hanger over the tailpipe hanger rod, position the rear exhaust hanger to the rear exhaust hanger bracket, then install the rear exhaust hanger to hanger bracket nut and tighten the nut to 30 N.m (22 lb-ft), ease the installation of the hanger, and press the exhaust hanger over the exhaust pipe hanger rod.

Q: How to remove the Exhaust Manifold Front Pipe?
A:
You will need to remove the rear exhaust manifold pipe, the transaxle, and the front exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold bolts, then disconnect the EGR inlet pipe nut from the front exhaust manifold pipe, remove the front exhaust manifold pipe to lower crankcase bolt, the front exhaust manifold pipe to cylinder head stud and the front exhaust manifold pipe, next remove the front exhaust manifold pipe seal from the left exhaust manifold and discard the seal, and remove the exhaust manifold flange retainer.

Q: How to install the Exhaust Manifold Front Pipe?
A:
You may need to place the retainer and a new front exhaust manifold pipe seal over the left exhaust manifold, insert the front exhaust manifold pipe over the left exhaust manifold, install the front exhaust manifold pipe to the cylinder head stud and tighten the stud to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft), then install the front exhaust manifold pipe to lower crankcase bolt and tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft), next connect the EGR inlet pipe nut to the front exhaust manifold pipe and tighten the nut to 60 N.m (44 lb-ft), then install the front exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold bolts and tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft), finally install the transaxle and the rear exhaust manifold pipe.

You will need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the exhaust hanger to the rear suspension support bracket bolt, apply a suitable lubricant to the exhaust hanger rod to ease the removal of the hanger, then pull outward on the exhaust hanger to remove it from the exhaust pipe hanger rod, next remove the rear exhaust hanger to hanger bracket nut, apply a suitable lubricant to the rear hanger rod to ease the removal of the hanger, and pull outward on the rear exhaust hanger to remove it from the tailpipe hanger rod.
