You can wrap a shop towel around the fuel pressure sensor fitting to absorb any fuel that may leak out, remove the fuel pressure sensor, and discard the fuel pressure sensor O-ring seal.

Q: How to install the Fuel Pressure Sensor/Switch?
A:
You can lubricate a NEW fuel pressure sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil, install the NEW fuel pressure sensor O-ring seal, wrap a shop towel around the fuel pressure sensor fitting, and install the fuel pressure sensor.

You can remove the fuel tank module, disconnect the Fuel Level Sensor electrical connector, release the fuel level sensor retaining clip, and slide the fuel level sensor down off of the bucket.

Gasoline or gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion.
