Q: How to remove the Ignition Lock Cylinder?
A:
You can disable the SIR system, remove the knee bolster, the steering column shroud, and an Allen wrench into the hole on top of the ignition lock cylinder case, push down on the Allen wrench to release the tab on the ignition lock cylinder inside the ignition lock cylinder case, slide the ignition lock cylinder out of the ignition lock cylinder case.

A:
You can install the ignition lock cylinder case, the 3 ignition lock cylinder case screws, the park lock cable into the lock cylinder housing, the ignition/start switch, and the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil.

Q: How to install the Ignition Lock Cylinder?
A:
You can use a screwdriver to rotate the ignition lock cylinder case gear clockwise to the start position-allowing it to spring return into the RUN position, install the key into the ignition lock cylinder, align the ignition lock cylinder and install it into the ignition lock cylinder case, install the steering column shroud, the knee bolster, enable the SIR system.

Q: What should I notice in Engine Control Module Replacement?
A:
Turn the ignition OFF when installing or removing the control module connectors and disconnecting or reconnecting the power to the control module (battery cable, powertrain control module (PCM)/Engine Control Module (ECM)/transaxle control module (TCM) pigtail, control module fuse, jumper cables, etc.) to prevent internal control module damage. Control module damage may result when the metal case contacts the battery voltage. DO NOT contact the control module metal case with battery voltage when servicing a control module, using battery booster cables, or when charging the vehicle battery.
Q: How to remove the Ignition Coil?
A:
You can remove the intake manifold sight shield, the spark plug wire, the Ignition Coil bolts, and the ignition coil from the bracket.
Q: How to remove the Knock Sensor 2?
A:
You can remove the right front wheel and tire, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector, and remove the Knock Sensor bolt and knock sensor.
