You can remove the air cleaner outlet duct, inspect the Throttle Body bore and the throttle plate for deposits, and clean the throttle body bore and the throttle plate using a clean shop towel with GM Top Engine Cleaner, P/N 1052626, or AC-Delco Carburetor Tune-Up Conditioner, P/N X66-P, or an equivalent product.
Q: How to install the Mass Airflow Sensor/Intake Air Temperature Sensor?
A:
You can install the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner assembly, tighten the MAF/IAT sensor adapter clamp, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector, and install the air cleaner outlet resonator.
