Q: How to remove the Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe (LY7-Gas, 6 Cylinder, 3.6L, SFI, V6)?
A:
You should partially drain the cooling system, and position J 38185 to the clamp to remove the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank, from the radiator, and from the throttle body assembly and remove the surge tank inlet hose from the vehicle.

Q: How to install the Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe (LY7-Gas, 6 Cylinder, 3.6L, SFI, V6)?
A:
You should position the J 38185 to the clamp to connect the surge tank inlet hose to the throttle body assembly and the radiator, position the surge tank inlet hose to the retaining feature of the air cleaner assembly, route the surge tank inlet hose under the hood assist rod support, position the J 38185 to the clamp to connect the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank and fill the cooling system.

Q: How to remove the Radiator Surge Tank (Left Hand Drive)?
A:
You should drain the coolant, disconnect the master cylinder fluid level sensor electrical connector and reposition aside, disengage and reposition the surge tank outlet hose clamp, disconnect the surge tank outlet hose, disengage and reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp, disconnect the surge tank inlet hose, remove the surge tank bolt and the surge tank nut, disconnect the low coolant sensor electrical connector and remove the surge tank.

Q: How to remove the Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose/Pipe (LHD, LY7)?
A:
You should drain the cooling system, position J 38185 to the clamp to remove the outlet hose from the surge tank, loosen the bolt on the bracket which secures the surge tank outlet hose to the engine, position J 38185 to the clamp to remove the surge tank outlet hose from the thermostat assembly and remove the surge tank outlet hose/pipe from the engine.
