FAQ for Oil Pan Repair
Q: How to remove the Oil Pan?
A:
You should remove the engine front cover and the power steering hose retainer from the air conditioning (A/C) compressor bracket, disconnect the intermediate steering shaft, remove the engine mount lower nuts and the A/C compressor bracket bolts and reposition aside, drain the engine oil, remove the transmission oil cooler pipe retainer from the engine right side, install the engine support fixture, tighten the support fixture wing nuts to provide clearance for the oil pan and remove the front differential carrier and the oil pan.
