A:
You should position the lift arm pin in the cam assembly slot, install the cam assembly to the sunroof frame with the screws, and move the lift arm to the bottom of the slot in the cam assembly. This will ensure even lifting operation and install the rear sunroof window and the headliner assembly.

You should lower the headliner, remove the rear sunroof window, move the rear window to the full vent position, release the lift arm from the cam assembly and remove the cam screws and cam assembly from the sunroof frame.

02/11/2022Q: How to remove the Sunroof Motor/Actuator Block Assembly (Rear Sunshade)?
A:
You should open the rear sunshade to the fully open position, remove the center window, the rear sunroof vent window, the rear sunroof sunshade motor/actuator, the rear sunshade assembly and either the rear left or rear right sunroof rear window track, cut the tie straps securing the electrical harness to the drive and return tubes, release the drive and return tubes from the motor/actuator block, hold onto the motor block, gently pry the return tube from the motor block, carefully remove the drive and return tubes from the motor/actuator compartment and remove the sunshade motor/actuator block from the motor compartment.

You should slide the front window cable and guide assembly completely forward until the front edge of the guide assembly stops at the rear edge of the front extension, connect the motor/actuator electrical harness to the front window motor or the rear vent window motor, install the sunroof front window motor/actuator, rock the motor/actuator to position the drive gear into the drive and driven cables of the motor/actuator block, install the 3 motor/actuator screws, the front sunroof window and the center sunroof window and perform the window initialization procedure.
